Hi there,

I am impressed by MVC controls toolkit and am interested in TreeView control in MVC 2.0 and is compiled in .Net 3.5.

The current version runs only in .net 4.0. i can not use 4.0. Could you please advice how i can get the same functionality in .net 3.5?

If not, please suggest me any alternate way to be able to use in .net3.5.

Thanks,

Hi Mohan,

Unluckly the core of the Mvc Controls Toolkit use Validation classes introduced with ,Net 4.0. Moreover it uses also optional parameter specified by name, so it is hard to mofify it to run in 3.5.

However it runs also with MVC 2 (there are two versions of the library one for MVC3 and the other for Mvc 2).

There are pure javascript TreeView that you can use if you need it JUST in display mode. However, if you want to edit node labels and move nodes with the mouse, at best of my knoledge there are not

other treeviews that allow this.

For display only purposes you can use the jquery treeview: http://docs.jquery.com/Plugins/Treeview
